We are excited to announce that Lagniappe Frame Shoppe is now proud to offer New Orleans native, Larry Casso's artwork. Mr. Casso spent the majority of his life capturing the beauty and culture of not only New Orleans, but all of south Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region . He shared his talent through his art, yes, but also through his teaching, and touched over 50,000 students in the Baton Rouge and Mandeville areas.
This unique work will be available as prints, and soon we will have a limited collection of original art on display for purchase. We have begun to produce gift and home decor items, as well as selected prints available for purchase alone or matted and framed. These are unique gifts, and will be a wonderful addition to anyone's art collection or home decor.
Stop in and let me share my unique story as Mr. Casso was my instructor, my mentor and the driving force that pushed me to pursue my own artistic endeavors. We will be happy to show you what we have available today, or you can browse through his collection to help you find that special piece you have been looking for.
We would also ask that if you happen to be a former student, or know a former student of Mr. Casso, please drop us a line below, or urge them to visit our store and share their contact information.
We are planning a showing of the Larry Casso Collection.
We would love to reach out to any of his former students to make them aware of this celebration and to please follow "Remembering Larry Casso" on Facebook for more details.

Lagniappe was the product of my mothers vision to accommodate my art profession. With a small start in a backyard shed to a full service framing, printing, and gift shop location, together we laughed, we learned and we grew serving old and new customers framing needs. Quality products, personal service, quality craftsmanship, and complete customer satisfaction were the most important traits that my mother instilled in me. So when mom retired I carried all this with me and am thrilled to have been able to serve the Baton Rouge area for over 40 years now.
Hello Stacey “Stace” here, welcome to my shop and thanks for stopping by. I am the owner, and part of a great team here at Lagniappe, where everyone plays a big part in our day to day success. I am a professional artist who also has been in this business for over forty years. I look forward to meeting and serving each and everyones framing needs with that experience.
Nicole has literally grown up with me here at Lagniappe. She came to us eighteen years ago and has never looked back. Nicole has a true love for each piece she puts together for her customers. Her creative side has become a blessing as she steps out of the normal to create the unique. Her "Yeah...we can do that" way of approaching customers ideas, makes for a finished product that always works. Come in and ask her how she can make your thoughts and ideas a reality.
We pride ourselves in offering the best quality matting, moulding, and glass available to ensure complete and lasting satisfaction.
We begin with one on one consultation getting to know you, and giving us the opportunity to help you select matting, molding, and type of glass that will best compliment your piece. This could be fine art, family pictures, certificates, diplomas, guitars, sports memorabilia and the list goes on and on. It is important to us that you feel, and are, as engaged in this first and all important step of the process. This helps provide you with the best finished product that you helped create.
This is where all that initial consultation begins comes into play. Upon receiving moulding and matting, we take all of your great choices for your piece and bring them all together. We cut all of our moulding, matting, and glass right here in house, and take great pride watching each piece we assemble come together. Our quality checks along the way ensure you are receiving exactly what we discussed
Upon completion, we will give you a call for pick up. We will then have a one on one again unveiling with to ensure you have that piece you are proud to call your own. In some cases where pieces are large, a grouping, or if you are just not sure how to hang, we can provide assistance with that as well.
Whether you are printing fine art on paper, fabric, or canvas, enlarging or reducing, we can meet your needs in a timely manner.
Whether your project is a larger commercial, or a small personal endeavor, we offer the latest technology, finest materials, and skilled consultation to accommodate all your reproduction needs.
From pillows, to flags, coffee mugs, or koozies, there is not much we haven't produced here at Lagniappe. If you can dream it, we can probably help you make it a reality. We pride ourselves on creating the extraordinary to meet your sublimation needs. Give us a call, or come by and share your company, group or organization ideas. Lets bring your ideas to life for those sales call freebies, company or group event gifting, or patio furniture throws.
Things are not always black and white. When you need that extra touch to brings photos back to life, create that special memento, or add that extra flair to an existing piece, we are here to help. Again we say, bring it in, sit and chat, and lets make your idea a reality.
